A Flash Mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly (generally from different locations) in a public place, perform an unsual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.

LOCATION TO MEET UP
Central Station – the park next to Railway Square and out the front of the station. You needn’t meet us here and the fewer people meet outside the better as we don’t want to give the general public an idea of what we are doing. The more spontaneous the better but for those wanting to meet up before there will be a few Mobbers there at 9:10am!
WHAT WE'RE DOING
We’re getting together a massive group of indigenous and non-indigenous people who will freeze for 5 minutes in the waiting area for CountryLink and intercity trains at Central Station in various culturally united positions (handshakes, hugs etc.). The exact time of the freeze will be at 9:15am according to the time of the “talking clock” which can be reached by dialling 1194 for the cost of a local call.
After the 5 minute freeze we will then disperse abruptly as if nothing has happened. It will be amazing to see the bedazzled expressions of bypassers' faces as they see hundreds of people just freeze in time – to see what we mean check out:

DEADLINE OF THE MISSION
Please advise us of how many people you will be attending with by emailing progressively.united.2009@gmail.com (be sure to not be double counted). The mission will be aborted should we not receive an indication that at least 100 people will be participating by 12:30pm this Friday (23 January) so be sure to email us on the above email address if you’re coming along. By the way, if we get 7,000 people we’ll get close to breaking the world record!
